What to do early booking or last minute? For most people, planning the summer vacation often starts after the new year and others prefer to wait until 1 week before their vacation begins. What is wisdom? An early booking or last minute? good question that I am going to write about now.
Last Minute Holiday
Both options are possible, it just depends on how you look at it. If you start around the new year or earlier with booking your summer vacation, you can choose from many options. That specific boutique hotel, or that special campsite somewhere on a mountain in Italy or that particular gulet or popular motor yacht. If you start searching and booking early, this is an advantage because let’s face it, the most beautiful and exclusive options are often gone before you know. This also applies to our gulets and motor yachts, but certainly for the first mentioned.
Luxury and exclusive products
The most popular and exclusive gulets are often booked one year in advance, even 2 years in advance. Now you may think I’m exaggerating, but it’s really true. Some of our exclusive gulets are already fully booked for summer 2020. Most of our customers come from very far away and on top of that comes booking tickets etc. All this together is a whole organization.

That is why booking earlier, that gives a lot of peace, you get what you are looking forward to and we have plenty of time to arrange everything to perfection.
Then you have the last minute bookers, who often does not care where they go. For them it is important that they go somewhere and then for a low price. If there is a room available in a hotel for that week, a cancellation, etc., then those rooms are often sold on cheaply. If you are not too picky then this is an ideal way to go on holiday.
Also with our yachts it is possible that just one week has dropped out and the owner is selling this week for a low special price, but like all luxury products, motor yachts and exclusive gulets do not get much discount (almost not). Actually, this makes sense, because let’s face it, everything of excellent quality comes with a price and you don’t want to make concessions there.
