Turkey or Croatia?
Croatia or Turkey? This is a good question and there is no simple answer to that. It’s just like asking if you would rather go on a winter sports holiday or would you rather go to a warm country where you can sunbathe and swim?
For many people this question cannot be answered because both are great. Snow, skiing, drinking mulled wine on the slopes, apres ski somewhere in a mountain hut, these are facets that you certainly don’t want to miss.
Stretch out on the beach, snorkel in crystal clear water, sultry warm evenings with delicious local food and then a dip on a terrace somewhere. Both different and fantastic so you cannot provide an answer.
This also applies to the question where can you better go with your gulet, Turkey or Croatie? Both countries are great and have their specialties that you don’t want to miss. There are of course a few subjects that distinguish the countries from each other, but that is why traveling is so beautiful because we learn so much from it.
Turkey or Croatia?
But the question remains difficult to answer, just like when you ask someone do you prefer to drive a Mercedes or BMW?
Let’s face it, croatie has a total coastline of more than 6,000 km and the number of islands cannot be visited in one go, because there are more than 1000. Some are inhabited, others are uninhabited. Nature is overwhelming here.
Great concerts and festivals are organized every year and wherever you go it is full of energy. Every day you have the opportunity to disembark and visit an impressive place. Croatie is also known for its breathtaking beaches and many have the blue flag. In addition, especially in July and August, the mild climate is a reason to choose Croatia.
On the other hand, we have Turkey, the country with an enormous history / culture and a hospitable population. Once you come into contact with hospitality, you never want anything else.
If you go for a gulet cruise from Turkey, this will be a week in which you will be spoiled by the captain and his crew, the most delicious Turkish dishes will appear on the table. You can enjoy snorkeling in remote bays where nobody else comes.
Not unimportant is the fact that the price of the gulets is better in Turkey, you can bring your own drinks on board and the food is more flexible. Economically speaking, Turkey is extremely attractive, especially if you are looking for something a little more luxurious.
In short, the question of whether Turkey or Croatia cannot be answered. It is better to do both once than you can judge it according to your own perspective and insight.
