After many days of lockdown, new rules, fear and uncomfortable situations, this was a question we were asked regularly. And it was very clear that people eventually wanted to go on vacation if the authorities allowed this. A holiday on a private yacht, whether a gulet or a motor yacht is safe! It can’t get any safer unless you stay at home for the rest of your life.

In the first place you come with a group of people you know, be it family or friends and in addition, the crew of a yacht is regularly checked for COVİD 19. The yacht is disinfected and checked according to the new guidelines.
The advantage of a private yacht holiday is that in principle you do not even have to leave the yacht if you want to. The captain can take you to the most secluded bays where you will not meet anyone else for a week. As you can see there are enormous advantages to a private yacht holiday and that was also noticeable in the bookings, although there were a number of countries that unfortunately could not come due to new rules.

Many of our guests last season were on a gulet or motor yacht for the first time, but will be back in 2021 because they have seen how safe and comfortable it is. If you don’t like traveling with a scheduled airline due to current circumstances, you can of course always book a private plane.

It may be that this is out of your reach and that is not a problem, I flew with Turkish Airlines to the Netherlands myself last week and I must honestly say that I did not feel uncomfortable for a moment. Everyone adheres to the rules and conditions, so traveling is really no problem.
