Bodrum
Bodrum is a charming and fascinating little port, 270 km. south of Izmir, on the Aegean coast of Turkey. It is located on the southern coast of Bodrum Peninsula, it faces the Greek island of Kos and at a point that checks the entry into the Gulf of Gokova.
The ancient name of Bodrum is Halicarnassus and of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Nowadays, Bodrum is a place where people like to be seen and they don’t let a moment go by.
Bodrum is a particularly intriguing place. It has a completely different flora and fauna than, for example, Marmaris and Fethiye, and life cannot be compared here either. Some people live a reclusive life in the countryside near the sea and others lead a jet-set life of allure. There is no arguing about one thing; Bodrum has allure! In addition, it is haughty, naughty and a little stubborn. This place cannot be compared to any other port location and you notice that as soon as you get off the plane. The weather, the wind, the sun, the colors that you see everywhere, the scents that surround you, Bodrum is different and you must have just been here.
