Mykonos is one of the best known Greek islands and belongs to the Cyclades group of islands. The world famous island is 85 km2 and has approximately ten thousand permanent residents. Every year many tourists come to Mykonos to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of the island.
The town, also known as Chora or little Venice, is a bustling picturesque town with white houses and churches, narrow cozy alleys full of shops and with the world famous windmills that stand on a low hill on the water.
How often have these mills been shown in posters or in famous films such as “Shirley Valentine”, “The bourne identity” and “Summer Lovers”? Mykonos-city is a well-kept city with white houses and colored doors and frames. The inhabitants of the city cherish the Cycladic style of their city with heart and soul.
